OpenFlow is utilized as the communication protocol in the SDN network. Also, Ryu framework is used to create network management and control applications in the controller. Monitoring is executed periodically by the controller. While entering suspicious condition of attack, a two-stage method is activated to handle the attack. The first stage of protecting helps in blocking the spoofing ARP responses to the target host and the second stage of detecting aims to find out the spoofer.
