摘 要
Abstract—The need for low power, long range and low cost
connectivity to meet the requirement of IOT application has led to the
emergence of Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) networking
technolohies [5] In this paper, we present an adaptive data rate (ADR)
algorithm for multi-gateway scenario to choose the appropriate data
rate and power of independent nodes based on LoRaWAN
specification. The algorithm using radio link quality include RSSI,
SNR and packet receive rate(PRR) which can quickly find the
appropriate setting of each node, also insure the PRR is sufficient to
the Usage scenarios.The result shows that the proposed algorithm
improves the energy efficiency and increases the effective bit rate and
the battery life of the enddevice
