講 題Exploiting mmWave for Deadline-constrained Traffic in Industrial Wireless Networks

摘 要
Providing high-quality video streaming data is critical for
industrial automation. To meet the high data rate requirements,
mmWave communication systems are promising due to the use of
large spectrum bandwidth. However, mmWave communications
rely on highly directional transmissions which poses challenge in
the design of transmission with mobility. In this paper, we consider
a stopping point selection problem in which a moving mmWave
transmitter delivers deadline-constrained data in a stop-andtransmit
manner. A traffic-aware selection scheme is designed to
reduce the total data collection time under the deadline constraint
of data. Through experiments, we demonstrate that the proposed
scheme can reduce 60\% of collection time compared to the fixed
stopping point scheme.
