However, as it is difficult to obtain overall network information in legacy networks, it is still challenging for ISPs to efficiently manage CDNs. SoftwareDefined Networking (SDN) is regarded as one promising solution for network management and service provisioning by exploiting flexible and adaptive network control. This paper proposed a joint path and server selection mechanism for Anycast to improve the efficiency on network resource management in SDN-based CDNs. Furthermore, our approach can be updated dynamically based on measured network status. Last, our approach is validated in terms of throughput and latency by simulations. Preliminary evaluations showed that the proposed method can balance traffic load in each path and outperform other approaches.
